Privacy policy
Updated September 5, 2026. This policy explains how Symbolic handles information when you use symbolic.sh.
Account information
Google sign-in provides your account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile image. Symbolic uses these details to authenticate you, display your account, and associate you with your workspace. Google sign-in requests only basic profile and email permissions. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendars.
Workspace information
Symbolic processes the requirements, URLs, instructions, evidence, and other information you submit, along with the resulting checks and reports. Connected tools receive the information needed for the actions you request. Submit only information you are authorized to share. Technical request and error records may be processed to operate and secure the service.
Storage and service providers
Convex provides the Google account authentication backend. Hosting and database providers process application data to deliver the service. Google handles the Google sign-in step. Session cookies and browser storage keep you signed in and support application preferences. Signing out ends your session; it does not delete your workspace.
Use of Google information
Google account information is used for authentication and account functionality, not advertising or model training. Symbolic does not sell Google account information. Symbolic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and your choices
Account and workspace information is retained to provide your workspace until it is removed or a deletion request is processed. Security, operational, or backup records may remain subject to applicable retention requirements. You can revoke Google access through your Google account settings. Revoking access does not itself delete existing Symbolic records. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated data, contact mosninco@gmail.com. Requests require verification of account ownership.
Security and changes
Symbolic uses encrypted connections and server-side authentication and workspace access checks. No service can guarantee absolute security. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date. Contact mosninco@gmail.com with privacy questions.
